Job Title: e-Commerce Manager

General Description:

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for the growth and performance of the traffic and revenue on LifeExtension.com. This involves hands-on management of channels, driving activities to make them industry leading, recommending and testing new ways to improve LifeExtension.com. As the paid channels represent a sizable portion of the site’s traffic mix and ad spend, success in this area will have a material impact on overall company financial performance. This role operates at a high, strategic level.
A key function of this position is the management of paid and social channels to include analyzing ad spend and performance, reacting as needed to maximize volume within our efficiency targets. This position is responsible for identifying, defining, implementing, and monitoring processes and projects to ensure these channels are running at peak performance.
Additionally, the E-Commerce Manager identifies, communicates and acts on relevant developments in the e-commerce space. Demonstrating an entrepreneurial drive and sense of ownership, advances the ecommerce channels to new heights.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

Development and project execution of e-commerce marketing strategies including search, social media, affiliate marketing, email marketing, ratings/reviews, etc., to maximize revenue and user experience
Manage performance of Paid Search, Retargeting Channels, Social Media programs, Shopping Comparison Engines, and Affiliate programs. Responsibilities include reporting, tools and processes needed optimize these channels.
Manage Amazon Marketplace and Amazon Marketing Services platform to improve sales; Work with stakeholders to explore additional marketplaces.
Lead the development and discovery process of e-commerce initiatives to increase revenue as well online brand awareness, ensuring appropriate messages are used in campaigns across digital channels
Maintain excellence in e-commerce and digital media; keep current with new technologies with a focus on understanding and supporting digital strategies within the organization
Participate and contribute to Digital Marketing team initiatives and effectively manage relationships and garner cross-functional team support
Manage the day-to-day operations of e-commerce activities for the business, including A/B and multivariate testing initiatives to improve conversion rate and retention, and promotional strategies that include calendars and pricing strategies across e-commerce segments to drive business objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure that e-commerce activities positively impact performance of the business, identifying and analyzing key performance metrics to serve as the e-commerce dashboard for business reporting to be shared with management, and use it as a tool to drive strategic decisions regarding user behavior, opportunities, and trends, through various web analytics tools
Plan and manage online customer acquisition best practices including: paid search, SEO, affiliate marketing, and social to increase ROI and ensure strategic/efficient budget spending
Ensure that overall social media strategies and tactics are in line with business objectives
Manage, drive and ensure effective engagement of all cross-functional team members
Ensure output of direct reports is accurate and meets required criteria; provide ongoing coaching and development to team
Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing related field
Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in online marketing, managing related channels
Expert knowledge of all aspects involved in online search (SEO/SEM), display, retargeting, and social media marketing, affiliate marketing, e-commerce, and web analytics
Demonstrated desire to take ownership of and improve paid channel performance
Proven track record in creating and delivering successful and cost-effective e-commerce marketing campaigns that lead to online customer acquisition
Demonstrated ability to function within a collaborative environment rolling out strategic e-commerce initiatives, which require technical, analytical, and e-commerce marketing knowledge to help drive the strategic vision for the e-commerce segments.
Ability to operate at a tactical level while taking a strategic viewpoint
Strong knowledge of online campaign analysis and optimization; experience utilizing Google Analytics for e-commerce websites
Experience with Google AdWords, Webmaster Tools, Facebook Ads Manager & Content Editor
Experience working within Amazon Marketplace, through AMS, and creative digital display advertising through Amazon Media Group
Outstanding leadership skills aimed at inspiring top notch performance from direct reports with a cross-functional team player mentality
Demonstrated ability to apply innovative ideas and critical thinking to projects and the organization’s opportunities
Superior project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills, time management and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
